"The award winning Waterford Festival of Food Dungarvan has become a meeting point for Michelin star chefs, artisan food producers and visitors of all ages. The action packed, family friendly programme includes ticketed, free and fringe events. New and novel events are added to the already exciting programme each year, with some events taking place indoors whilst others unfold in the woods, on the beaches & mountains and across farmyards. Visitors can part-take in seaweed seminars, food foraging trails, baking courses, restaurant trails, cookery demonstrations, picnics, 'Bus Bia' tours, BBQs and much more. The weekend culminates in a Farmers' Market Extravaganza which packs the purpose designed market square in the heart of the picturesque coastal town.
