Come to Galway city's Latin Quarter for three days and nights of wicked Halloween fun and free entertainment for all the family. Featuring an extensive programme of spooktacular street spectacle, tantalising trick or treat trails, fancy dress party nights, kid's masquerade ball, a spectacular re-enactment of Michael Jackson's Thriller Dance, kiddie's disco and lots more. Now in its fifth year and taking place in the heart of the city's pedestrianised centre, Galway Abooo has something for all the family. The Latin Quarter, situated on the left bank of the River Corrib, has for many years now been the acknowledged epicentre for much of Galway's renowned cultural activity and vibrant social scene and the growing interest each year in all things Halloween has seen the festival grow and grow to become the city's (and indeed one of Ireland's) favourite Winter festivals.
