Kinsale Gourmet Festival, now in its 37th year, is the oldest food festival in Ireland. Visitors can expect to experience a variety of different events over the course of the weekend such as an 8 course 'Taste of West Cork' degustation menu produced by all the chefs in the Good Food Circle; cookery demonstrations, The Mad Hatters Taste of Kinsale with Alice in Wonderland and friends; a fruits de mer luncheon showcasing the best of local shellfish and all mixed together in a pot with one special ingredient....FUN! Just 16 miles south of Cork, Kinsale is a charming fishing and sailing town that has become known as the Gourmet Capital of Ireland.
