St Ann's Church

Founded in 1707, St. Ann's striking Romanesque façade was added in 1868. Inside is a series of colourful stained glass windows, dating from the mid-19th century.The interior of the church was designed by Isaac Wills and completed in 1720. The original, partially completed facade was replaced by the present imposing neo-Romanesque structure by Sir Thomas Dean in 1868. Famous people associated with St. Ann's include Wolfe Tone and Bram Stroker, author of Dracula.
