Pets entering Ireland from Canada
Pets entering the island of Ireland from Canada are subject to six months quarantine unless they have undergone the requirements of the UK Pet Travel Scheme and obtained the requisite ‘Passport for Pets’ and entered Ireland through the UK. There are special regulations applied to some dogs, for example Pitbull Terriers. For more information relating to pets contact:
