This pretty village of Moynalty is located about 7kms from Kells to the left of Carlanstown crossroads. The district here is very hilly. The village is home to the famous Steam Threshing Festival held every year and features displays of vintage machinery, demonstrations of steam threshing and other old time skills. Angling is also good in this area.
