Clarinbridge —County Galway
Clarinbridge lies on the Galway/Gort road, the heart of the Galway oyster country. Each September the events of the Clarinbridge Oyster Festival are held in the open air in the village. A visit to the local church will reveal an ancient stone table in its porch showing a rather fine carving of the Virgin Mary.
