Official Rules & Conditions
1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID IN THE PROVINCE OF QUEBEC, OUTSIDE CANADA AND WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.
2. Eligibility: Sweepstakes open to legal residents of Canada who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of Tourism Ireland, The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair and any of their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions, licensees and advertising and promotion agencies (collectively “Sweepstakes Entities”) and those living in the household of same are ineligible. Sweepstakes subject to all applicable provincial/territorial and local laws and regulations. Void in the province of Quebec, outside Canada and where prohibited by law.
3. Sponsor/Administrator: The Sponsor and Administrator of the Sweepstakes is Tourism Ireland (“Sponsor/Administrator”), 2 Bloor Street West, Suite 3403, Toronto, ON, M4W 3E4, Canada.
4. How to Enter: Sweepstakes starts November 4th 2011 9:00:01 a.m. EST and ends November 13th 2011 at 11:59:59 p.m. EST ("Promotional Period"). During the Promotional Period go to URL CAMPAIGN PAGE and complete the online Sweepstakes entry form by entering your full name, home address and e-mail address. Limit one (1) entry per person/e-mail address during the Promotional Period. If it is discovered that you attempted to (i) enter more than once per person/e-mail address; or (ii) use more than one (1) e-mail address to enter the Sweepstakes; you will be disqualified from the Sweepstakes and all of your entries will be void. Use of any automated system to enter is prohibited and will automatically result in disqualification.
5. Sweepstakes Drawing: A random drawing will be held the week of November 14 in Toronto, Ontario and the selected entrant will be identified from among all eligible entries received during the Promotional Period to determine one (1) Prize winner by the Sweepstakes Sponsor/Administrator, whose decisions on all matters pertaining to the Sweepstakes are final and binding without right of appeal. The selected entrant will be notified by e-mail within 10 days of the sweepstakes closing. The winner has 15 business days to respond or the prize will be forfeited and awarded to someone else. If the prize is declined, the prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, or in the event of noncompliance with these Official Rules and Conditions, the prize will be forfeited and may, in the sole discretion of Sponsor/Administrator, be awarded to an alternate winner.
6. Prize, Odds: One (1) Prize of a Trip for Two: The prize and all details will be organised by Royal Irish Tours in Toronto. All prize details are subject to availability. The Prize consists of
• 7 days self drive standard car rental with unlimited mileage and 3rd party insurance cover
• 7 nights prebooked accommodation as per itinerary based on double or twin room
• En-suite bedroom with bath and/or shower & WC
• Full Irish breakfast daily
• Touring map of Ireland
• A touring guide to Ireland's major visitor attractions with reduced admission offers
• All local taxes on car rental and accommodation
• Return flights from Toronto Pearson International Airport to Dublin
Winner will be responsible for picking up the rental vehicle at Dublin International Airport at the designated rental company as determined by the Sponsor/Administrator. Prize Winner may upgrade to an automatic and/or larger vehicle at his/her expense. Prize Winner will be responsible for obtaining all necessary vehicle insurance. Gasoline is not included. The Prize includes roundtrip economy (coach) class airfare from Pearson International Airport to Dublin Airport. Other Canadian Airport, transfers from and to the airport are the sole responsibility of the prize winner. The above accommodations and room types are subject to availability and may change in Sponsor/Administrator’s sole discretion. Return travel must be completed by October 2012. Prize Winner and his/her travel companion must travel on the same itinerary. Sponsor will not replace any lost or stolen tickets, travel vouchers, or certificates. Once booked, no change, extension, or substitution of trip dates are permitted, except by Sponsor at its sole discretion. Tickets are non-refundable and not redeemable for cash or credit. Tickets may not be transferred or sold to a third party. Prize Winner and travel companion are responsible for obtaining all necessary and required travel documentation to permit international travel (i.e. passport). Prize winner will be responsible for obtaining travel and health insurance coverage for the duration of the trip at the expense of winner and his/her travel companion and further, must not have any barrier to entry in the host country. All travel expenses not described herein as being awarded, including, but not limited to, incidental accommodation expenses, upgrades, meals, ground transportation, travel insurance, items of a personal nature, gratuities, and souvenirs, are the sole responsibility of the Prize Winner. If for any reason any portion of the Prize does not occur, such portion will be forfeited with no compensation being paid in exchange thereof. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Promotional Period.
7. General Prize Restrictions: No cash redemption of the prize. No transfer of the prize. Prize may not be substituted, except by Sponsor for a prize or a prize component of equal or greater value, in its sole discretion. Prize may be different from that pictured in advertising. Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for the Sponsor and its designees to use the winner name and likeness for advertising, promotional and other purposes in any and all media now and hereafter known without additional notice or compensation unless prohibited by law. Winner acknowledges that neither the Sweepstakes Entities nor their directors, employees, or agents, have made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize, including but not limited to its quality, mechanical condition or fitness for a particular purpose. Any and all warranties and/or guarantees on a prize (if any) are subject to the respective manufacturers’ terms thereof, and winner agrees to look solely to such manufacturers for any such warranty and/or guarantee. By participating in this promotion, all entrants agree to these official rules, and understand that the prize will be forfeited to the runner-up if the winner is not able to travel over specified dates for whatever reason or if not eligible for this sweepstakes.
8. Release: Tourism Ireland and its sponsors/partners are not responsible for (a.) Lost, late, delayed, misdirected, unintelligible or incomplete electronic mail; (b.) Telephone, electronic, hardware or software program, network, Internet or computer malfunctions, failures, or difficulties; (c.) Errors in transmission, any condition caused by events beyond the control of Tourism Ireland that may cause the promotion to be disrupted or corrupted; (d.) Tourism Ireland will not be held responsible for entries not received in the event of participants not successfully completing the entering mechanism supplied.
9. Disputes: Except where prohibited, entrant agrees that any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually and without resort to any form of class action. Any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Sweepstakes, excluding attorneys’ fees. Entrant hereby waives all rights to claim indirect, punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for out-of-pocket expenses. Where permitted by law, this Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, without regard to conflicts of law principles and all entrants hereby submit to the jurisdiction and venue of Province of Ontario for the resolution of all claims and disputes.

Privacy: By entering this Sweepstakes, each entrant expressly consents to the Sponsor/Administrator, its agents and/or representatives, storing, sharing and using the personal information submitted with his/her entry only for the purpose of administering the sweepstakes and in accordance with Sponsor/Administrator’s Privacy Policy, unless the entrant otherwise agrees.
11. Permission: By entering this promotion, you are granting Tourism Ireland with the permission to communicate with you for the duration of this promotion. By selecting any or all of the opt-in options on the sweepstakes entry form this confirms your permission to receive relevant marketing communication from Tourism Ireland and/or its partners after the sweepstakes closing.
12. Security: This promotion takes every precaution to protect users' information. When users submit electronic information, their information is protected online by firewall software. Offline, all of our users' information is restricted to our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job are granted access to personally identifiable information.
