Eyrecourt Galway - Ireland WestLynch's Cottage is a traditional old farmhouse approximately 200 years old which has been recently renovated. It is located in peaceful surroundings near the River Shannon, equal distance from Banaghar and Eyrecourt just off the R356. Lynch's Cottage provides all modern comforts, and includes three bedrooms, one sitting room, a kitchen and bathroom with shower. The Cottage is furnished with all modern conveniences including a dishwasher, microwave, washing machine and dryer. There is also oil fired central heating. This is an ideal base for angling, with the River Shannon just 2km down the road and a bait shed with fridges available for guest use. It is also ideal for visiting the Burren, Cliffs of Moher or Aliwee Caves. Locally there is Birr and Portumna Castles, Clonfert Cathedral, Clonmacnoise Monastic settlement, Dartfield horse Museum, the bog train, go-karting, golf and water sports.
