You should pass through the following towns in order (distances are approximate) Saintfield-Crossgar-Downpatrick-Ardglass. Ardglass is about 100miles (160km) from the centre of Dublin and around 2hours by car from Dublin airport on a good day. From Dublin or Dublin Airport, follow signs for Belfast.

Op Ardglass komt u de grootste waterhindernis tegen die u zich voor kunt stellen: de Ierse Zee. Op de eerste zes holes speelt u direct aan de rand van het klif, waar u de golven ver beneden kunt horen beuken en waar u kunt kijken tot aan het Isle of Man.
