Knock Village in Co. Clare is a charming little village with a bridge and a pier, which borders the Shannon Estuary and is about 6 miles from the Maritime & Heritage town of Kilrush. The name Knock comes from the Irish word 'cnoc' which translates into English as 'hill'.
