A series of events to commemorate the Derryveagh Evictions of 1861 when 47 families were evicted from their houses and lands in the Derryveagh Estate. Events include special talks, activities for children and guided visits to the eviction sites. “We Remember Walk” is planned for 28th August 2011 as well.
