Boyle Pike Angling Festival is an annual event which attracts over 300 anglers each year from Ireland, England, Germany and other European countries. The Boyle Pike Angling Festival, held by Boyle & District Angling Club, is the biggest pike fishing competition held in Ireland, and has now been running for the past 20 years approximately. Valuable prizes to be won under various categories. Catch and release only. All anglers are advised to wear life jackets. All boats must have suitable holding tanks. Start at Doon Shore on Saturday morning, 3rd April, at 11.00. Finish at Doon Shore at 18.00. Check in time: 09.30. On Sunday morning, start at Doon Shore at 10.00. Finish at Doon Shore at 17.00.
