The GAA Hurling All-Ireland Senior Championship Final is one of the biggest days in the Irish sporting calendar and is staged in the GAA's national stadium, Croke Park. The final was won in 2011 by Kilkenny after a thrilling encounter against Tipperary. The Liam MacCarthy Cup is the ultimate prize for any hurling player and historically Kilkenny have been the most successful side – etching their name on it an impressive 33 times.
