Vantastival

Dundalk

03 May 2013 - 05 May 2013

Vantastival is a family-friendly festival taking place over the May Bank Holiday weekend. Three stages of live music and entertainment host up to 70 diverse acts over the course of the weekend, while a range of activities focusing on the campervan lifestyle bring a whole new dimension to the only festival of its kind in Ireland. Other attractions including gourmet food stalls, festival traders, a healing area, scheduled kids' activities, art, craft and theatre ensure that Vantastival has something for everyone, with or without a campervan! Campervans are welcome to park on site at no extra charge, but you don't have to have a campervan to enjoy all that's on offer and there is a dedicated tent campsite for those without vans! Children are welcome and kids under 14 get in for free. Tent campers are equally welcome. Vantastival prides itself on showcasing the very best of Irish music, with a strong focus on up-and-coming acts. The diverse line-up includes original folk, rock, traditional, electro, bluegrass, punk and ska bands. Weekend camping tickets and single day tickets are available. 'One of Ireland's best small festivals... Vantastival is an event every Irish music fan should drop in on at least once' - Alternative Ulster Magazine. 'Visually spectacular, compact and extremely well organised, the atmosphere was chilled out with continuous comments on the friendly tone' - State.ie.
