Blackrock Castle stands guarding the river entrance to Cork City. Now in an exciting new collaboration between Cork City Council and the Cork Institute of Technology, Blackrock Castle is once again open to the public as Blackrock Castle Observatory. 'Cosmos At The Castle' is an interactive exhibition exploring extreme life on earth and in space. Links connect visitors with the work researchers are doing through the robotic telescope.
