Directions
Directions to Trailhead Starting from Limerick City on the N7 follow the N7 for 14km to reach Daly’s Cross. Here, take a left onto the R525 (signposted O’Brien’s Bridge and Castleconnell). Follow the R525 through Castleconnell and for a further 3km to reach Montpellier. Cross the bridge into O’Briens Bridge – the trailhead is located in the car park on your left.

Die Gegend O’Briensbridge, für ihre Angel- und Wassersportmöglichkeiten gut bekannt, ist von Wasserwege umgeben und ist ohne Zweifel eine der idyllischsten Bereiche Limericks. Diese zwei Rundwege, Errinagh Bridge und Old Barge, sind rund um das Errinagh Canal gelegen, was für den Bootsverkehr nach der geschäftigen Stadt Limerick gebaut wurde. Der Kanal wird heute als febelhafte Freizeitanlage ausgestaltet und diese zwei Wanderwege verwenden die ehemalige Leinpfade, worauf Pferde einst Frachtkäne zogen.
