From Shannon Airport follow the N18 to Limerick, at junction 4 continue forward onto the N18 Toll (signposted Limerick east toll) Travel through the Limerick tunnel. Leave the N18 at junction 1and then join the M20 motorway (signposted Cork). At junction 5 continue onto the N21 (signposted Tralee/Killarney). At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the Limerick road N21 and continue forward entering Adare. The main entrance to the resort is on your left hand side as you drive over the bridge coming into Adare.

Adare Golf Club im Adare Manor wurde von Trent Jones Snr. Angelegt. Diese Championship Anlage ist modern angelegt inmitten eines Parks mit altem Baumbestand. Drei Seen, entlang des Größten werden 4 Löcher gespielt, gehören mit zur Anlage. Den Höhepunkt stellt das 18. Loch dar, dessen Fairway und Green vom Flusses Maigue getrennt wird und das Green vor der Kulisse von Adare Manor angelegt wurde. Hier wurden und werden von 2007 bis 2009 die Irish Open ausgetragen.
