Slieve Russell Hotel Golf & Country Club
The 300 acre estate is mighty impressive and it includes an equally awe-inspiring 50 acres of water – all waiting to drown unsuspecting balls. This course is a mere baby of the golfing world, having opened in 1992, but its tricky greens have ensured its national status, having already hosted the Irish PGA Championship and the North West of Ireland Open.
Directions :
From Dublin follow the N3 through Navan, towards Cavan. At the roundabout just outside Cavan town, take the N3 to Enniskillen and at the roundabout after Belturbet take the left (N87) for Ballyconnell town.
