Nigel’s Bicycle Shop is situated on the North East end of the Sheep’s Head Peninsula, in the town of Bantry. The Sheep’s Head is ideal for cycling – the north side is quiet and sparsely inhabited with little traffic and views of Bantry Bay. The south side has three villages, Durrus, Ahakista and Kilcrohane, for those not wanting to be too far from food and drink. The road closely follows the coastline. Cyclists may take all day and go all the way around or take in Durrus village or just beyond for a more leisurely trip for example.
